ps7 vs Cs2
I've been using photoshop version 7 for quite sometime now. Not a pro yet but good enough to produce a few decent edited pictures. Just recently a friend showed me her new notebook. It has Cs2 (Photoshop 9 is also known as Cs2) but she has yet to explore it's advantages over ps7 anyway. I'm very happy with ps7 but i have to admit i'm curious to the bones with Cs2 also. The leap from ps6 to ps7 was a pretty good one. It came up with more awesome features and new tweaks and treats. I especially like the file browser that allows one to view image thumbnails and metadata. I also love the extension of it's brush parameters. It was such a wonderful upgrade and I'm expecting the same from this 7-9 leap of Photoshop. here's a bit of what the manual says : -Can build your own script for shortcuts and repetitive tasks (nice, nice) -Enhanced File Browser (ability to flag a picture, and edit the metadata of the picture through File Browser, and perform batch procedures... Let the Music Play!
20Aug08 They may not be big name performers or even local favorites, but tonight a band from Austin Texas, called "King Cone", played at our 3 beer limit watering hole. Now let’s not make fun of their name, even though, I would change it, and I was in a band called the Sore Losers! But that is one of the worst I have ever heard and I know of a band actually called "Free Beer"! The Guys played a mix of covers and their own tunes which had a very roots rock flavor, maybe leaning a little towards the country side but I could dig it and I would encourage anyone out there to give them a shot if they come to your town. Just goes to show you not only ASSHOLES like Toby Keith do these tours, but hard working bands who are trying to make a name for themselves do it as well, and they don’t get paid near as much, but play twice as long and actually give a shit about the troops!
